Contract Staffing Recruiter (Full Desk) – Remote

Help Build Prevail Consulting Prevail Recruiting is expanding beyond direct hire and launching a dedicated contract staffing and consulting division. We're looking for an experienced Contract Staffing Recruiter who has successfully built and managed contract recruiting desks and understands the entire consulting lifecycle from business development through consultant management. This is an opportunity to help build something from the ground up alongside a leadership team with a proven track record in recruiting. The Role As a Contract Staffing Recruiter, you will be responsible for developing client relationships, identifying consulting opportunities, recruiting contract talent, negotiating rates, and managing consultant engagements. You will play a key role in shaping the future of Prevail Consulting while helping clients solve critical hiring needs through contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a contract staffing desk
  • Develop new client relationships and consulting opportunities
  • Recruit and place contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire talent
  • Negotiate bill rates, pay rates, markups, and conversion terms
  • Manage consultant onboarding and engagement processes
  • Partner with clients on workforce planning and staffing strategies
  • Build talent pipelines across multiple verticals and skill sets
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish best practices and scalable processes for Prevail Consulting

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of contract staffing or consulting recruiting experience
  • Proven success placing contract and contract-to-hire talent
  • Experience managing the full recruiting lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of staffing economics, including bill rates, pay rates, burden, markups, and margins
  • Experience with consultant onboarding, timecards, payroll coordination, and engagement management
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to help build a growing division

Preferred Experience

  • MSP/VMS experience
  • Experience recruiting within Technology, Accounting & Finance, Legal, Engineering, Construction, Healthcare, or Professional Services
  • Experience building contract staffing programs or consulting divisions
