Remote Dispatcher (Part Time)
Remote Dispatcher (Part-Time) Southern Home Security, LLC Southern Home Security, LLC is a growing authorized dealer for Safe Home Security and Viasat, delivering professional smart home security systems and high-speed satellite internet solutions. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Remote Dispatcher to support our field operations team. This is a part-time, fully remote position responsible for coordinating installation schedules, managing technician workflows, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. Equipment will be provided. There is potential for this role to transition into a full-time position as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate installation appointments between customers and field technicians.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling-related inquiries and updates.
- Optimize daily technician schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize travel time.
- Maintain accurate records within our CRM and scheduling systems.
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding appointment confirmations, changes, and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with the operations and sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Identify and escalate scheduling conflicts or operational issues as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in dispatching, scheduling, or operations coordination (home services, telecommunications, or security industry experience preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in using technology platforms, including CRM systems, phone systems, and scheduling tools.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Compensation & Schedule
- Hourly Rate: $22.00 per hour
- Schedule: 15–20 hours per week with flexible scheduling (some evening and weekend availability preferred)
- Estimated Annual Earnings: $17,160 – $22,880 (based on 15–20 hours per week)
- Equipment provided (laptop and headset)
- Weekly direct deposit
