You will join a dedicated inbound‑call team that reports to a Supervisor in our Customer Experience department. The role is based in La Porte City, IA, with a flexible hybrid schedule that balances on‑site collaboration with the comfort of working from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer a high volume of inbound phone calls, delivering prompt, courteous, and accurate assistance to customers.
  • Partner daily with sales team members to ensure seamless order processing and issue resolution.
  • Navigate multiple PC‑based applications simultaneously, maintaining data integrity while handling up to eight hours of seated work.
  • Utilize arenaflex resources to select accounts, identify products, place orders, and manage order lifecycles.
  • Resolve pricing and invoicing discrepancies, apply credits, and execute return procedures in accordance with company policies.
  • Document interactions in the CRM system, ensuring that each customer touchpoint is captured for future reference and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions, knowledge‑share meetings, and performance‑feedback loops to sharpen your skill set.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
  • Minimum of one year of proven customer service experience, preferably in an inbound call‑center environment.
  • Reliable ability to commute to the La Porte City facility for on‑site training and scheduled hybrid days.
  • Dedicated, secure home workspace that meets arenaflex’s health‑and‑safety standards.
  • Proficiency with multiple PC‑based programs, including CRM, order‑entry, and inventory‑lookup tools.
  • Stable broadband internet with documented speeds of at least 5 Mbps upload, 15 Mbps download, and ping under 80 ms.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with e‑commerce platforms or B2B sales environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on active listening.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and solution‑focused under high‑pressure situations.
  • Basic understanding of supply‑chain concepts, product catalog navigation, and order fulfillment processes.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay: Starting at $15.80 per hour, with three automatic raises over the first 12 months that bring the hourly rate up to $17.00.

Upon successful completion, you will transition to a hybrid schedule—three days onsite and two days remote—while maintaining the flexibility to increase remote days up to five per week based on performance and business needs.
