Description Online Teacher – Fully Remote | $20/hr | Cosmo 1:1 | United States or Canada Location: Remote (US or Canada only; some states excluded) Job Type: Part-Time | Contract | Flexible Schedule Employer: Cosmo 1:1 (formerly ClassUp) Role Overview Cosmo 1:1 is hiring experienced educators to deliver personalized 1-on-1 online lessons in math, English Language Arts (ELA), and SAT prep. This is a flexible, remote opportunity ideal for teachers who want to connect with K–12 students in an after-school setting while using Cosmo’s curriculum and tech tools.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging 50-minute 1-on-1 lessons Prepare age-appropriate materials using Cosmo’s learning plans Update availability in the Cosmo App Submit feedback after each session Communicate professionally with students, parents, and Cosmo staff Attend all scheduled classes on time and in a distraction-free setting
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree Minimum 3 years of teaching experience (K–12 in math, ELA, or SAT prep) Familiarity with K–12 standards Teaching license preferred but not required Reliable internet and a Windows/Mac PC (CPU ≥ 6000) Commitment to at least 6 months of teaching 20+ hours of weekly availability (Mon–Fri 3–10 PM EST or weekends) Must reside in the US or Canada (excluding AK, CA, CO, DE, HI, ME, NH, ND, PR, VT, WV) Ideal Traits Approachable and able to build rapport Patient and adaptive to student needs Emotionally intelligent and encouraging Enthusiastic about education Reliable and well-prepared Click Here to Apply This is a fantastic opportunity to teach from anywhere while making a meaningful impact. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply To This Job
