Billing Coordinator (Hybrid) - Boulder, CO or Washington, DC

Keller and Heckman LLP is an internationally recognized law firm headquartered in Washington, D.C. The firm is seeking a Billing Coordinator to join its Billing team to support the firm’s billing operations by ensuring invoices are prepared accurately and timely in accordance with firm and client requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and process client invoices in compliance with firm policies and client billing guidelines
  • Coordinate with lawyers and billing colleagues to address billing questions and resolve issues
  • Monitor billing timelines and ensure adherence to internal and client deadlines
  • Respond to billing-related inquiries from lawyers and clients
  • Assist with billing reports and tracking related to billing activity and trends
  • Support billing-related projects and process improvements as needed

Skills

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally and work effectively with lawyers and staff
  • Adaptability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Law firm billing experience preferred but not required - we welcome recent graduates and candidates with varying levels of experience
  • Familiarity with Aderant or Elite billing systems is a plus; training will be provided
