Our client, a forward-thinking educational technology company, is seeking a passionate and innovative Remote Curriculum Developer specializing in STEM education. This fully remote position offers the unique opportunity to shape the future of learning for students worldwide. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engaging and effective STEM curricula that align with national and international educational standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of pedagogical principles, curriculum design frameworks, and the integration of technology in the classroom. Your expertise will extend to creating diverse learning materials, including lesson plans, assessments, interactive exercises, and digital resources, catering to various age groups and learning styles. Collaboration with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and educational stakeholders will be a key aspect of your role to ensure the relevance and impact of the developed content. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop comprehensive STEM curriculum frameworks and learning pathways for K-12 and higher education levels. Create engaging and interactive instructional materials, including lesson plans, student activities, assessments, and digital content. Ensure all curriculum content is aligned with relevant educational standards, learning objectives, and pedagogical best practices. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and depth of content in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Develop assessment tools and rubrics to measure student learning and progress effectively. Incorporate educational technology and digital tools to enhance the learning experience. Conduct research on emerging trends and best practices in STEM education and curriculum design. Review and revise existing curriculum materials to improve their effectiveness and relevance. Provide training and support to educators on the implementation of new curricula. Manage multiple curriculum development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery. Maintain documentation for all curriculum development processes and resources. Foster a collaborative and innovative approach to curriculum design within a remote team environment. Contribute to the company's mission of providing high-quality, accessible STEM education. Qualifications: Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, STEM field, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, with a strong focus on STEM education. Demonstrated expertise in instructional design principles and adult learning theories. Proficiency in creating digital learning content and utilizing learning management systems (LMS). Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Proven ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting. Strong research and analytical skills. Familiarity with various educational technologies and platforms. Passion for improving STEM education and making learning accessible. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams remotely. Experience with project management tools is a plus.
