Project Manager Expert

You will lead agile and hybrid project teams to deliver business value through structured planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedules, and delivery plans while managing risks, issues, and deviations from the plan.
• Lead project status meetings, distribute progress reports, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Manage project teams by removing roadblocks, mentoring members, and ensuring accountability for commitments.
• Support the Product Owner with stakeholder communication, customer expectation management, and project governance.
• Monitor vendor performance metrics to ensure delivery against contract requirements.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to implement Agile best practices and maintain high quality standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in project management or similar roles.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in project/program planning, resource planning, and work plan development.
• Proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects.
• Proficiency with project management tools including Jira, Confluence, Workfront, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, or Visio.
• Expertise in Scrum/Agile and hybrid methodologies.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for complex decision-making and problem-solving.
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact with stakeholders at the executive level.
• Experience providing leadership to business analysts, program managers, and coordinators.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Preferred Skills

• PMP certification.
• Experience with organizational change management.
• Prior experience working within public sector health and human services agencies (DHHS).
