Job Summary:

Join the arenaflex team as an Experienced Customer Service/Sales Representative, where you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences across various departments. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to customers, assessing their needs, and recommending products to meet their requirements. With a focus on building strong relationships and exceeding customer expectations, you will work closely with department supervisors and other associates to achieve sales goals and maintain a safe, clean, and shop-able store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service by actively seeking out customers, assessing their needs, and recommending products to meet their requirements

  • Learn about products using arenaflex tools and provide information to customers to sell entire projects
  • Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department, and know how to handle basics in adjacent departments
  • Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
  • Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments
  • Participate in sales initiatives and promotions to drive sales growth and meet sales goals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues to build a positive and inclusive work environment

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or related environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting sales goals and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash, operating a cash register, and processing transactions
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and move freely throughout the store
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in a sales or customer service role in a retail or related environment

  • Knowledge of arenaflex products and services, or a willingness to learn and develop expertise
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and communication
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
