Responsible for the design, development, testing, and operation support of the solutions that will be composed into the Cloud Services environment. Provide technical guidance to the business unit, IT management and staff at the highest technical level. Work closely with Cloud Services management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes that drive the platform roadmap. Research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations for changes that would enhance the platform. Provide production and technical support in the case of a serious outage.
Qualifications
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Tech Lead, Systems Engineer, Application Developer, Software Developer, IT Consultant or related occupation.Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Big Data solutions; Caching; Cloud Databases; Cloud Services; Continuous Integration and Deployment; GIT; Java; JSON; Junit; Large-scale Distributed Software Systems and Services; Linux; Messaging; Microservices; SOAP and REST web services; and UNIX.Job Location: 1201 3rd Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101.We offer a competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set, and location.
