Role Description This is a remote, unpaid volunteer role for podcast production assistance for humanitarian projects. Responsibilities include supporting podcast content creation, assisting with episode planning, performing editing and sound engineering, managing production timelines, and collaborating with the team to curate relevant humanitarian topics. Volunteers will also assist in research and outreach to contributors and audience engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience in Podcast Production, Audio Editing, and Post-Production
- Proficiency in tools like Audacity, Adobe Audition, or similar software
- Research and organizational skills for planning and creating content
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for outreach and team collaboration
- Familiarity with humanitarian and educational issues is a plus
- Knowledge of digital distribution platforms (e.g., Anchor, Spotify, or Apple Podcasts)
- Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with a remote team
