Test Automation Engineer (Android/iOS/Windows Mobile App)
We are seeking a motivated Intermediate Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will create, implement, and automate headless test procedures for our mobile application, which is designed to collect data from hardware devices via Bluetooth on Android, iOS, and Windows Mobile platforms. As part of an agile team, you will collaborate closely with app developers to ensure we deliver high-quality software products that meet our users' needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated headless tests for mobile applications using C# and relevant tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand application functionality and design effective test cases.
- Participate in the full testing lifecycle, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Identify, analyze, and document defects, providing clear feedback for development teams.
- Maintain and enhance automated test configurations to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Contribute to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices for mobile testing and automation.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Testing/QA Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on agile methodologies.
- C# Proficiency: Strong knowledge and experience in C#, with at least 3 years of hands-on development or testing experience.
- Headless Automation Testing: Proven experience writing headless automation tests for mobile applications using C#.
Nice-to-Have
Qualifications:
- MAUI/Xamarin Knowledge: Familiarity with .NET MAUI or Xamarin for mobile application development would be a plus.
- Appium Experience: Experience with Appium for mobile automation testing is a plus, even if not the primary focus.
- Bluetooth Testing Experience: Understanding of Bluetooth communication and device integration testing.
- Continuous Integration Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps) to support automated testing processes.
- Participate in the full testing lifecycle, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
