Adaptive Fitness Coach (PT, OT, Kinesiology) - Part Time
About the position Special Strong is seeking compassionate and motivated Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Kinesiology graduates/students who are passionate about working with individuals with special needs through adaptive fitness. Our mission is to empower individuals with mental, physical, and cognitive challenges to live abundant lives through adaptive fitness. Responsibilities
- Lead 1:1 adaptive fitness sessions
- Assist with group classes
- Conduct fitness assessments and track client progress
- Prepare individualized workouts for athletes
Requirements
- Licensed PT/OT or Kinesiology major/graduate preferred
- Experience with special needs individuals is a plus
- Reliable transportation within a 15-mile radius of assigned locations
- Comfortable using smartphones and basic technology
