Advanced Industrial Cleaning Technician
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Advanced Industrial Cleaning Technician for a fully remote, project-based engagement. This role is critical for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and operational integrity in specialized industrial environments. You will be responsible for executing complex cleaning protocols, operating advanced cleaning machinery, and ensuring compliance with stringent health and safety regulations, all while working remotely and coordinating on-site teams through detailed planning and communication. Responsibilities: Develop detailed, remote-accessible cleaning plans for diverse industrial sites, including manufacturing plants, laboratories, and data centers. Supervise and guide on-site cleaning crews through clear, precise remote instructions and documentation. Specify and manage the use of specialized cleaning equipment and chemical agents, ensuring adherence to safety data sheets (SDS). Conduct remote risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for cleaning operations. Ensure all cleaning activities comply with industry-specific regulations, environmental standards, and client requirements. Maintain meticulous digital records of cleaning schedules, procedures, and outcomes. Coordinate with site managers and stakeholders to schedule cleaning tasks and minimize operational disruption. Troubleshoot cleaning challenges and devise innovative solutions. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment for remote deployment. Provide remote training and support to on-site personnel on safety and cleaning protocols. Qualifications: Proven experience (5+ years) in industrial cleaning, with a strong emphasis on specialized environments. Demonstrated ability to manage cleaning operations remotely using digital tools and communication platforms. In-depth knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures (e.g., OSHA, HAZWOPER certification preferred). Exceptional organizational and planning skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities, particularly in a remote supervisory capacity. Proficiency with project management software and digital documentation tools. Ability to interpret technical drawings and site layouts. A strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance. Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal direct supervision in a remote setup. Experience in specific sectors like pharmaceutical, food processing, or electronics manufacturing is highly advantageous.
