VP Tax
Title: VP Tax Location: Remote Position Type: Full Time
Compensation
Pay Range:$200,000 Per Year Description This position is responsible for overseeing tax operations for private credit fund vehicles in a remote setting. The role involves managing tax compliance, collaborating with various teams, and utilizing advanced technology for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage tax compliance for investment funds, including federal and county tax returns and K-1 distribution. Coordinate with financial reporting and external advisors for non-U.S. tax returns. Respond to tax-related client inquiries and manage IRS withholding forms. Collaborate with compliance teams for regulatory reporting and assist in fund entity management. Provide training and technical tax assistance to operations teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in tax asset management, focusing on private credit. Demonstrated teamwork and strong work ethic. Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams. Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in spreadsheets, with a willingness to adopt new technologies. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
