Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Remote Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Transferring confidential data from paper and/or electronic formats into billing software (Timeslips) using a keyboard
- Typing in data provided directly from staff
- Verifying data by comparison/generating reports
- Sorting and organizing paperwork (electronic and hard copy) following data entry
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Meeting productivity and quality standards
- Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless data entry processes
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience in data entry, preferably in a medical, legal, or insurance claims office
- Typing proficiency, with a preferred level of at least 45 wpm accuracy, no errors
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of medical facilities and med-legal terminology
- Familiarity with billing software (Timeslips) is an asset
Preferred Qualifications
