Job description: The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring ( ) is seeking Biology, Chemistry, and Physics Tutoring specialists for assignments in Menlo Park, Atherton, Mountain View, and Palo Alto. This position has regular demand, a flexible schedule, and an above average pay rate.
Level: Some experience as a Science teacher or as a professional Science tutor
Location: SFB - Peninsula Area

Classification: Part time employee (W2)
The Position:
- Provide in-person Science tutoring to students in grades 6 -12
- Tutoring sessions take place in our learning center, online, or at local schools
- Tutoring sessions last 90 minutes
- 6-12 hours per week of assignments available
- Materials are provided but your supplemental materials may also be used
- Submit a resume which highlights your background teaching or tutoring math. Please be clear on which math subjects you feel comfortable tutoring. Good luck
- 6-12 hours per week of availability
- An earned Bachelor's or Junior Year standing at a local university with at least one year of tutoring experience
- The ability to teach one or more of the following for grades 6-12: Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or the Advanced Placement counterpart to those subjects.
- Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background and >2 years of experience as teacher or tutor
- $50 - $70/hr commensurate
