About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi The Senior Advisor, Implementation plays a critical role in turning injury prevention outcomes into action. Working closely with delivery partners and internal teams, you will support the effective implementation of programmes and interventions that reduce harm and improve wellbeing. This role translates strategic objectives into clear, actionable plans, oversees day‑to‑day programme delivery, and uses data and insights to continuously improve outcomes. You will contribute to initiatives that are culturally responsive, aligned to ACC priorities, and focused on achieving sustainable, long‑term impact for priority populations.

We’re seeking a dedicated Senior Advisor, Implementation to join our dynamic team. You’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating and supporting injury prevention initiatives, building strong relationships with partners, and contributing to keeping Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.

The appointing salary for this role is $101,287 – $129,885 based on experience and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme with features like 0% employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance, and flexibility to change to a locked plan at any time.

About you | Mōu You will bring:

  • Significant experience in the design, implementation, and evaluation of injury prevention, public health, or similar programmes.
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders and delivery partners.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, prioritisation, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience using data, insights, and feedback to inform decision‑making and continuous improvement.
  • Well‑developed relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse communities and partners.
  • A strong commitment to cultural responsiveness, equity, and the application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice.
  • The ability to navigate complexity, adapt to change, and contribute positively within a collaborative team environment.
  • You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.
