Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently transferring data from one source to another through various means, including data entry equipment, word processing, and verbal recordings. Your exceptional typing skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the success of this role.

Responsibilities

Data Entry:

Transfer data from paper formats via computer, recorders, or scanners, and enter it into appropriate fields, databases, records, and files.

Data Accuracy:

Handle numerical data accurately, creating spreadsheets and organizing them with large numbers.

Data Curation:

Curate data directly from speech or interviews, and update databases or records with new information as it becomes available.

Data Verification:

Correct and modify inaccurate files and records, and verify data by correctly checking and comparing source documentation.

Data Organization:

Organize paper formats, paper backups, and material source files as needed.

Data Security:

Comply with security backups and regular checks to ensure data is saved and stored properly.

Reporting:

Summarize data for standardized reports, and view and verify confidential or private customer/client information, protecting their identities and information.

Team Collaboration:

Assist team members when needed to accomplish team goals.

Accurate and precise attention to detail is essential in this role.

Communication Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as the ability to speak confidently, clearly, and professionally for voice recording data.

Time Management:

Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge:

Skilled knowledge in generating process documentation, and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel spreadsheets.

Experience:

Prior experience handling data entry responsibilities or equivalent experience in a related field is highly desirable.

Education:

A high school diploma, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree in business, administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Personal Qualities:

A willingness to learn and grow with the company, self-directed, and able to work without supervision.
