Assistant Account Executive

Allison Worldwide is a creative agency that fosters an inclusive culture and innovative solutions. They are seeking an Assistant Account Executive to support key account projects and develop media lists, conduct news monitoring, and network with media and influencers.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in team and client calls and provide thorough notes and action items to help move deliverables forward every week
  • Assist in providing clear client communication under the direction of your account leads
  • Develop the first draft of PR content like press materials, speaker submissions, blog and social media content, bylines, etc. for review by your team
  • Monitor and develop reports for client and industry media coverage
  • Conduct media outreach with guidance from AE/SAE; pitching news announcements and conducting follow up via phone and email
  • Research and track industry events, speaking opportunities and awards for clients, providing recommendations to internal team members
  • Produce monthly or weekly reports outlining key activities and initiatives
  • Conduct new business research to support upcoming pitches and presentations
  • Promote and uphold Allison’s core values; participate in agency-wide training and professional development programs

Skills

  • Assistant Account Executives at Allison typically have a minimum of 1 + years of experience
  • Works independently on assignments, as directed
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn and enthusiastic about the work
  • Foundation in research and content development
  • Prior experience working in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, alongside Zoom and Microsoft Teams
  • Takes direction well, asks clarifying questions and follows through on required deadlines
  • Proficiency in using media monitoring and data analytics tools like Muckrack, Critical Mention, Meltwater and Cision
  • Preferred experience as an account coordinator or equivalent experience in public relations, marketing or a related field
  • Tech Industry interest or background strongly preferred
