Graduate Program Analyst (PROJECT POLICY ANL 3 RP)
The University of California, Davis is seeking a Graduate Program Analyst to support Graduate Studies leadership and manage processes related to graduate education. The role involves conducting research and analysis, serving as a liaison to the Academic Senate and Graduate Council, and communicating findings in various formats.
Responsibilities
- 40% - Graduate Council Liaison
- 40% - Graduate Program Personnel
- 20% - Program & Policy Analysis
Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required and/or equivalent experience/training
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in higher education in a policy, or graduate education-related role
- Experience in research analysis, especially in the area of higher education and/or academic governance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Time management skills to manage, track and work on multiple and simultaneous complex tasks, under competing deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and maintain confidentiality
- Experience with University of California and UC Davis organization, units, resources, facilities, and student information systems including Graduate Studies managed applications systems such as Program and Roles Manager (PRM), Programs Manager, Student Progress Assessment (SPA), etc
- Knowledge of UC Davis and UC policies related to graduate education, graduate research, and postdoctoral scholars
- Knowledge of UC Davis graduate programs and structures (graduate groups and departmentally-based programs)
