Tech Lead – Fullstack Engineer

As a Tech Lead at Ignite Visibility, you will be a trusted technical advisor and own the complete technical lifecycle of assigned wed development and technical projects. You will leverage your broad expertise to solve complex challenges with innovative solutions and deep technical insight. You will independently plan, execute, and oversee project development while fostering team collaboration and proactively resolving conflicts. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about building scalable systems and leading high-performing engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Direction & Leadership

  • Provide technical leadership and direction for your team, making key decisions on architecture, frameworks, and tools.

  • Mentor and support engineers through regular 1:1s, code reviews, and skill development sessions.

  • Proactively escalate critical issues to Engineering Manager and HR Director as needed.

  • Promote a healthy, safe, and inclusive engineering culture.

Day-to-Day Engineering Collaboration

  • Collaborate daily with engineers in hands-on coding, problem-solving, and feature development.

  • Ensure code quality through rigorous reviews and adherence to development best practices.

  • Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to translate business needs into technical specs.

  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.

Technical Strategy & Innovation

  • Develop and implement a technical strategy aligned with product vision and business goals.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends, advocating for improvements in tools and processes.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead the team in architecting, designing, and building high-quality, scalable software solutions.

  • Champion engineering best practices and coding standards.

  • Break down complex problems into actionable tasks and manage team workload effectively.

  • Foster a collaborative team environment, motivating engineers and supporting their growth.

  • Proactively identify and resolve technical blockers and team conflicts.

Requirements

Experience & Background

  • 6+ years of software development experience, with 1–2 years in a Tech Lead or similar leadership role.

  • Proven track record of leading technical projects from concept to launch.

  • Strong background in system architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Asana, Trello, etc.).

  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and mentor team members.

  • Mandatory: Strong expertise in Typescript and Node.

  • Mandatory: Proficiency in Nextjs or Reactjs for frontend development.

  • Experience with modern frontend/backend tools, REST APIs, databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and DevOps practices is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership with the ability to mentor, delegate, and provide constructive feedback.

  • Excellent collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Adaptability to evolving technologies and a drive for continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or agency environments.

  • Familiarity with SEO tools, analytics platforms, or marketing tech stacks.

  • Contributions to open-source projects or active technical community involvement.

  • Referrals from previous teams or clients are a plus.
