[Remote] Accounts Receivable Associate

The Accounts Receivable Associate role is designed to provide foundational experience in billing, collections, and cash application, supporting key financial processes and improving the organization's financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Generate and deliver accurate customer invoices aligned with contract terms
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and conduct proactive customer outreach
- Apply customer payments daily and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with customers to address billing questions or escalate as needed
- Collaborate with Sales and Legal teams to ensure billing accuracy
- Support monthly close with AR schedules, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Prepare documentation for audits, compliance, and financial reporting
- Participate in projects to improve AR processes and operational efficiency
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of accounting or accounts receivable experience
- Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting/ERP systems, preferably NetSuite and Salesforce
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for customer interactions
- Willingness to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced environment
