Simulation Analyst

They are seeking a Simulation Analyst to support Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance study efforts, performing high fidelity modeling and simulation of satellites and aircraft for various customers.

Responsibilities

  • Modeling various ISR systems
  • Need to design studies and implement trade studies to demonstrate objectives
  • Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) checks of simulation input and results
  • Analyzing large amounts of data
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports
  • Generating graphs and briefs to support study findings
  • Presenting findings to senior decision makers

Skills

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • 1+ years experience
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university, in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
  • Willing to work on-site Chantilly
  • Proficiency with Python and data manipulation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of GEOINT collection phenomenologies (RF, EOIR, SAR, …)
  • Knowledge of spacecraft orbits and attitudes
  • Previous Modeling and Simulation Experience
