[Remote] Business Development Associate
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Axios HQ is a software and professional services company that helps organizations improve communication with employees and stakeholders. They are looking for a Business Development Associate to join their commercial team, where the role will focus on sourcing conversations with prospects to drive pipeline and grow the customer base.
Responsibilities
- Serve an integral role in sourcing conversations with ICP prospects to drive pipeline and ultimately grow our customer base
- Manage sales pipelines including researching, prospecting new business leads, outbound outreach and prioritizing based on intent-signals
- Utilize CRM software to manage sales processes and pipelines
Skills
- 1+ years of professional experience in a customer or client facing role - ex. business development, sales, customer service, account management, recruiting, etc
- Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills, a competitive streak and a natural inclination to push oneself to be the best
- Strong project management skills and sales fundamentals
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and comfort with regularly speaking with clients on the phone
- Eager for and receptive to feedback
- Experience managing sales pipelines including researching, prospecting new business leads, outbound outreach and prioritizing based on intent-signals is a plus
- Proficiency using CRM software to manage sales processes and pipelines
