System Operations Engineer
ATC is a company focused on supporting renewable energy and electric transmission systems. They are seeking a System Operations Engineer to provide technical engineering support services to ensure reliable electric transmission system operations, including the design, installation, and maintenance of EMS databases and displays.
Responsibilities
- Provide a variety of technical engineering support services to ensure reliable electric transmission system operations
- Use your bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related technical degree in your day-to-day work which involves the design, installation, and maintenance of EMS databases and displays
- Research, develop, test, and implement enhancements and upgrades to EMS systems
- Provide technical support and training to operations personnel on EMS systems such as network security applications, training simulation, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and data archival and analysis
- Take part in an on-call rotation to support the bulk electric system
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related technical degree
- Experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of EMS databases and displays
- Ability to research, develop, test, and implement enhancements and upgrades to EMS systems
- Provide technical support and training to operations personnel on EMS systems such as network security applications, training simulation, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and data archival and analysis
- Participation in an on-call rotation to support the bulk electric system
