Key Responsibilities

Engage with Card Members: Respond to inquiries and provide assistance to American Express card members via phone, email, and chat channels, ensuring timely and effective resolution of their issues. Deliver Exceptional Service: Actively listen to customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to maximize their satisfaction and loyalty. Educate Card Members: Inform card members about American Express products, services, and benefits, helping them to get the most out of their membership. Process Requests: Handle card member requests, including account inquiries, payment processing, and dispute resolution, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction. Maintain Accurate Records: Use our CRM system to keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. Stay Updated: Remain informed about product offerings, promotions, and industry trends to effectively assist card members and enhance their experience. Qualifications and Skills Essential Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a contact center environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically under pressure. Empathetic and patient attitude with a genuine passion for helping others. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and multitask effectively. Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the financial services industry or with a similar brand. Knowledge of customer service software and technology. Certifications or training in customer service or a related field. Bilingual or multilingual skills.
