Nuclear Design Engineer

They are seeking an Entry-level Nuclear Design Engineer to perform reload analysis work for both US and international customers, ensuring adherence to nuclear safety and quality standards while developing and optimizing reactor designs.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include the development and optimization of safe, economic bundle and core designs, development of cycle operation techniques and simulation of transient events for establishing reactor operating limits
- Perform engineering design and analysis and propose solutions to complex problems that are not well defined
- Coordinate and integrate complex technical projects that encompass multi-teams; achieve established budget and schedule requirements
- Develop and deliver presentations to communicate status, problem resolution or promote related business products
- Support development and implementation of new methods and processes for implementing technical requirements
- Coordinate technical documents for associated licensing approvals and provide expertise and consultation to technical panels, reviews, committees, regulators, customers, and partners on multiple Nuclear Design related topics
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering or related Discipline (e.g., Mechanical) preferred or recognized equivalent required
- 0 + years' experience required
- Experience working in a team environment
- Computer programming skills
