[Remote] Bookkeeper

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hepdex is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to join their dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day financial transactions and prepare financial reports that support management decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records including accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and ensure proper cash flow management
  • Enter and process payroll accurately and in a timely manner
  • Generate financial reports to provide insights on the company’s financial position
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines
  • Assist with audits and prepare necessary documentation as required
  • Coordinate with other departments to gather relevant financial information and support financial analysis

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a relevant financial role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A degree in accounting, finance or a related field
