Accounts Payable Specialist I- Hybrid Remote

Prism Data Consulting is dedicated to helping data professionals find their best fit within the industry. They are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist I to process and pay invoices, ensure payment accuracy, and maintain financial records in a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and pay various types of invoices for all entities under the direction of the Supervisor, Accounts Payable
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payments for the health system
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient financial operations
• Foster positive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation

Skills

• High School Graduate required
• Minimum of one (1) year related bookkeeping experience
• Ability to perform a full anatomical range of motion and withstand long periods of sitting, standing, or walking
• Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Completion of one (1) year of college, including Accounting I or Elementary Accounting preferred
• Experience in a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with financial software or accounting systems
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings or weekends, as necessary
