Senior Google Cloud Platform Developer
We are seeking a Senior Google Cloud Platform Developer to join our Technology and Business Consulting group. Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable GCP infrastructure solutions
- Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters using GKE
- Configure and manage Google Cloud Monitoring and Logging systems
- Develop and maintain Terraform scripts for infrastructure automation
- Optimize and manage data storage using Google Cloud Storage and Cloud SQL
- Analyze and query large datasets with Google Cloud BigQuery
- Use Google Cloud Shell for cloud environment management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-based solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services
- Ensure compliance with security and governance policies
- Document cloud architecture and deployment processes
- Stay updated with the latest GCP features and best practices
- Support migration of workloads to Google Cloud Platform
- Provide guidance on cloud infrastructure scalability and performance
Requirements
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (3+ years)
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and Google Kubernetes Engine
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Monitoring and Logging tools
- Experience with Google Cloud BigQuery and Cloud SQL
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Storage
- Proficiency in shell scripting
- Ability to work effectively in a consulting environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience in managing cloud infrastructure projects
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to document technical processes clearly
- Experience with cloud security and compliance practices
- English language proficiency at the B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience in software development
- Google Cloud Certification such as PCA or ACE
- Good verbal and written communication skills
